Interesting. I think you should ask some questions inside the Svelte discord channel. My opinion is that Svelte is the easiest to integrate because it doesn't require the runtime that react does, for example. I've got Svelte runni

I keep telling myself that an incoming recession creates good conditions for my startup (vivoh.com). I guess I've internalized the idea that if you have a startup during a recession and can survive, you'll be in a great position a

That was weird indeed. When I was in high school in Japan as an exchange student, I did think it was strange that I had to clean the classroom myself rather than a janitor. But now that I'm older, it makes perfect sense.

Svekyll was originally built on sveltekit and I couldn't figure out how to get SSR and figure out the right adapter for nodejs and static hosting. Which is why I abandoned it and am much happier with a Svelte only CLI, just like Jekyll

I really love Svelte. The compiler is great and very extensible. For example, you can easily add functions to the processing pipeline to process Svelte templates (or the script elements or style sections) in your own special way. It's

I know the strokes well, or at least I did. I recall being corrected in class when I lived in Japan. I was so proud of my kanji and the strokes were completely out of order and my Japanese classmates made me well aware of that. I'm act

I was downvoted heavily on that comment. I've got two daughters and this is not the way I want them to think about usage of AI. My 8 year old is already worried about her body and her weight and it feels like it is appropriate to at le

Great, this looks perfect as a way to sell more fast fashion, the 2nd worst polluting industry in the world. So many better applications of this technology and instead they showcase dancing boring body stereotypes.

I did some side loading using a crazy wireguard, adb and CLI OCR hack: https://blog.plzat.me/2023-05-23-android-in-wireguardland-pu... It worked great! But, I'm glad I don't need to use it anymore.

This article is about a human changing his mind multiple times over the course of his life. And then, seeing a machine do it too. Sadly, I doubt that important idea will be considered on the Internet very well.

That would be great! I hope to do that someday. I'm trying to take my daughters to Japan in March. Let me know if you need anything direct from the source!

That's great to hear. I think my kids recall the experiences, but you do, and you were a kid doing that. In twenty years I hope to hear the same things from my kids.

So many people say: "Don't take young kids abroad, they won't really remember those travels." BS. I took my son to Brazil, it was great, we got on a $1 cab ride, got on a pirate ship, endless alpine slide after the aeria

I'll check this out, thanks so much. I'm curious about how to teach theory to a ten year old. They are probably better at absorbing those things than I am, so maybe I'm not the best strategist anyway.
