Yeah, I can't help but feel anytime a police officer stops me on the highway for 8 mph over the speed limit that they're really keeping all the crime away. That's why people stop speeding, cause they get a ticket once and aft

Wow, it's nice to know that police protect and serve ducks. Would be cool if they also protected and served people, but I guess ducks are a little easier to work with.

As proof of this, consider how incentivized even sports teams are to cheat in what would otherwise be a fair competition.

Strongly disagree with this. Because it's exactly what's propping up our stock market. But the point is that billionaires take money out of circulation, whereas most of the rest of people put it into circulation. I use more of my

I think the real problem that your answer hides is that in order for money to circulate, we need to pick up the most stagnant money in the economy. That would be the wealth accumulated by billionaires, rather than the money of cafe workers.

This feels like a knee jerk partisan reaction couched as a call for tolerance of an otherwise less popular opinion. What is magic about week 23 that makes this so cut and dry for you?

When 1% (~4M) of the country owns 32% of the wealth, you can either target them for taxes. OR you can go after the 160M people in the Middle/Upper 40% to get the 26% of the wealth... Last option, as a compromise you can go over the top
