Sure software is crucial to the final working of the robot and it's not solely all in the physical design. Robots are not possible without software but I think the fundamental problem in robotics for manufacture is about physical intel

So interesting! Some similar work on this area: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-021-23258-x https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2020AGUFMP001...01C/abstra...

Robotics is not a software problem and SV companies bias is towards software development (a little different with X but still apparent). I think most companies that try to throw data at existing problems in robotics using existing machines

Useful details on fab side: the material is indium-gallium-zinc oxide deposited onto a flexible polyimide substrate using the fab-in-a-box manufacturing system ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9A2yYZ-NAI ) >Thin-film mat

Honestly would use the bathtub interface. Convert it to a hot tub and that is an excellent outdoor office.

One of the major impediments to widespread use of psychedelics is actually difficulty in finding or envisioning profit models. For this reason, I'm not really looking forward to psychedlic startups. In this sense decriminalisation may

I found it confusing for a similar reason especially when you get into more complicated designs with multiple parts. I think development could be massively sped up with a little funding. I tried libfive ( https://libfive.com/

Did I miss it or was there no in capsule cameras for this one? I thought the Branson space flight had a little more drama to it because of the scenes from the cockpit and passenger area.

Nice, I think Adobe has a lot to learn from software like this. I would like to see similar funding and support for for FreeCAD and OpenSCAD

This is why I prefer PhD or research degrees to Masters as the "curriculum" is more modular (i.e. I can quickly change my focus if something wasn't working out or learn new things without needing permission). US/Europe g

Non alcoholic Guinness (or maybe its like <0.5%) is excellent and is definitely approaching the real thing. I think people respond well when it's not puritanical and provides a viable alternative.

Yeah exactly, this is glossed over. The UK govt and many CEOs have been erring on the side of wanting "work from work" to come back. The choice for workers then is: continue restrictions and get remote working or end restrictions

Indium, used as ITO in many lcd screens, has a recycling rate of <10%. This is just one example of something that can't continue (a) environmental effects and (b) these things do run out, especially rare metals like indium. Wonderin
