No one who operates a CGNAT enjoys it or wants to operate a CGNAT. I'd wager that most mobile network traffic is native IPv6 to IPv6 because all of the super high volume FAANG et al websites are operating IPv6.

Are we using the same piece of software? I have it deployed in production on kubernetes using the bitnami helm chart and everything works like a charm, clustering etc. No need to modify any XML or care about network routes.

The solution to the NAT issues is simply to use IPv6 and not worry about NAT.

I have an iPad for note-taking at school and literally don't use it for anything else. In fact it's out of battery most of the time I pick it up. My Samsung fold is just so much more versatile and I hse it for media consumption mo

It's absolutely overpriced considering I think Samsung has better offerings at that price point (which I think are equally ovepriced). I think fierce competition will bring the price of this emerging form factor down in the long term.

Totally agree, especially for the restaurant menu use case even if it's niche. I can have a regular phone walking around folded and just unfold whem I sit down and am ready to consume any kind of media.

I'm posting this from my Galaxy Z Fold 3. I'm not particularly wealthy or a frequent traveler. I bought this phone used for 750 bucks in Canada and my main use case for the screen real-estate is reading manga on it, which it excel

Well, that is unfortunate because it invalidates a lot of the benefit of the link-local address while providing "pivacy" over the local link scope... I have not encountered any equipment in the wild that does this, thankfully. The

Adding A-F to the 0-9 existing digits in ip addresses makes them non-human readable? Give me a break. We've had something human-readable since the dawn of the internet: it's called DNS and works with both IP families.

Minecraft absolutely supports IPv6. The server doesn't bind to v6 by default but will happily do so and work if you tell it to.

Why do you need stickers? You can just log into your router/switch and inspect the arp/nd table. You could just just use DNS records the first time you set a widget up and never have to remember an address again. Your router likel

I got so fed up with IPv6 being either straight up unavailable or being deployed in a botched fashion by residential ISPs in my area in the last 10+ years that I picked up an ASN and a /44 last year. I advertise it from a VM on Vultr i

Digital Ocean has horrible IPv6 support, I would just move to another provider. Most VPS providers will, at the very least, provide you with a /64.

> With IPv6 hell knows what their hex-colon monstrosities would be. You would know exactly, because every IPv6-enabled interface has a link-local predictable IPv6 address derived from its MAC address.

That isn't the fault of the native messaging host transport mechanism though. I'm just saying there are transport alternatives that are more secure than the Root CA installation nonsense the apps in your submission employ.

There absolutely is, it's called native messaging hosts. It allows webextensions in your browser to talk to executables installed on your local machine. The locally-installed application simply needs to install their appropriate extens

Doesn't mean you have to expose it. V6 direct to ClusterIP/LoadBalancerIP/ExternalIP makes more sense and CNIs like Calico have this functionality as a first-class citizen.
