Bought by a venture capital firm in 2011, quality and revenue have been falling since. Jenna Lyons (the reason jcrew style had a real style) left in 2017, there have been other big departures since. They’ve been on the bubble for a while, c

This can’t happen (in the United States) until there are alternate ways of making a decent living for normal people who can’t self-teach math and programming skills. College is a mandatory job “certification” for a lot of office and other t

Repeating the same thing you just said in response to an argument is not an argument. Encryption is not changing content, in fact it's the only way to prove that the content was not changed from the version google indexed vs what your

Are you asking how to design a custom hardware raid controller, then tune it to match the performance characteristics of the specific NAND chips you have? Seems outside of the range of most people's abilities.

I think you could argue it already has a more general name; individual self interest. The peak headcount you’ve managed or directred has a pretty direct impact on the level of manigeiral roles you are in contention for.

That’s what I would call the spiritual or religious definition. It’s followed by the philosophical followers of capitalism (economics majors and similar). The practical definition of capitalism is studied by the operational practitioners (b

You see I disagree with your fundamental premise, capitalism is a means to amplify creation of money and wealth inequality which is a bad thing, but people sometimes use it for good to help each other.

This was the standard conservative argument for a long time: HSAs and non-comprehensive insurance. It’s just what conservatives have been saying for the last 60 years (only give benefits that have meaning to those who already have money), a

The thing is most people don’t use Macs or even personal computers for that matter anymore. It’s never been about a massive appeal product, it’s about meeting people’s needs. I think Apple remembers the good old days when they got rid of th

My wife’s HP laptop has a spring loaded full sized jack that pops out. It adds no thickness and the laptop cost $300, there’s no ethernet jack on the Mac not because they can’t but they don’t want one.

We are living in strange times. If your credit is good, most automakers are offering no interest loans and also not doing the normal trick of making the no interest loan price higher to cover the spread. Very desperate to sell cars.
