Do the skills these people have overlap with the skills needed for a good data labeler? I'm guessing being a domain expert is most valuable as a data labeler.

Is Meta the same story as Twitter? Two companies with way more highly paid engineers that are needed to maintain a mature social platform and ad network? Funny how both reorgs were done in about the most expensive way imaginable. Twitter th

Save page, speed, battery life, bookmark sync, tab sync, and password sync are all slightly better in Chrome. I used Firefox on Android for probably 11 years before switching to Dolphin (RIP) and then stock Chrome when Firefox made it a hug

This should be Firefox, but they've expended a lot of time and energy reimplementing code from Chromium instead of focusing on where they can add unique value.

No good options on Android right now. You can use Firefox, but there are a lot of tradeoffs.

I use the word "superstition" to describe a lot of this. Some of the explanation is that these systems are hard to understand and changing fast. Another part of the explanation is that AI has removed so much of the need for the ex

Google/Android TV seems totally fine and capable as long as you use a custom launcher to eliminate all the advertising on the home screen. Google doesn't do scummy screen spying ("ACR", Automatic Content Recognition).

This sounds great to me, but the mainstream market has shown they probably wouldn't pay even $5 more for such a device when something they think is good enough is built into the TV.
