That's not the market demanding it. Yelp could easily fire uppity workers and replace them with people willing to work for that wage.

I think that's what Yelp ended up doing with Eat24, moving the office to Phoenix if I recall correctly.

That is what frustrated me about it at first. Once I got through those tedious first few levels though, and you unlock some of the more fun power-ups, the game gets enjoyable.

Excellent piece here. Does a great job of demonstrating "concept creep" from both liberal and conservative ideologies, and of describing how we got to this situation in the first place. The bullet points towards the end summarize

It only looks like conservation of momentum is violated. From the article: >The cone allows Unruh radiation of a certain size at the large end but only a smaller wavelength at the other end. So the inertia of photons inside the cavity

Not just the justice system, but society in general. If you're arbitrarily targeted by the internet outrage mob for doing or saying something they don't like, your life can be ruined without a fair due process, and the internet do

Speaking to the reason he's writing this, if a vacancy is asking for jQuery, it probably means they're using jQuery (obvious). The author mentioned other stuff you can use to get specific jQuery functionality, but I think it shoul

Where is the issue comparing 1 and 11? 1 < 11 still returns true. [11,1].sort((a,b) => a -b) still returns [1, 11].

It's not that it sometimes infers what you want to do. It's that it has defaults and if you want to do something besides the default, you need to specify what it is you want to do.
