Is there any reason for this? Clicking on the Princess Bride links me to Ep6, Lost Ark, Avengers and BTTF. To me it implies that they're related or similar. But I can't see any relation or similarity across these 5 other than score.

Jamming can happen at all layers. The most basic of jamming is to drown out all other communications with high-power noise. But in the case of illegal/covert activities this isn't ideal as your transmitter will be pretty easy to find. So th

In NZ, at least in supermarkets, Coke usually sends their own employee to manage their shelf space for most of the day. The only time I ever touched the Coke shelf was late evening near closing. As i've never worked in a servo I couldn't co

Something about this doesn't sound right to me. Or is this just the Greeks being paranoid/BI employees being stupid? If you're working on a game based around military facilities and want to get reference material of these facilities, Why wo

To me, my $4000 Savile-Row suit is worth twice as much. It's not bespoke, it's made-to-measure. Sort of half way to bespoke. I don't need to wear suits, I never really have. I've always worked for relaxed companies, never been to a wedding

I worked for a company that made a product similar to this and I'm not convinced they work as a consumer product. Our customers would plug the device in and then use it for maybe two weeks and then forget about it. The reality is, for most

I read/heard/imagined(?) that the reason GPU vendors weren't willing to hand over their source was due to a proportion of their performance being software based. Which then a competitor could also implement.

I have a few issues with QR codes. 1. They are still cumbersome to use. If I could open up my camera app (which I can launch with a press of a button) and point it at the QR code then maybe. But currently I've got to unlock my phone, open g

Why is the first tangible reward a t-shirt and not the product? If I was going to fund something, I would want to know my money is going to the product and not merchandise. I don't think a YC pitch would go well if they said "And with the f

While I give credit for the Moz docs for being accurate. They're not exactly the easiest things to browse or find what you're looking for. For webdevs they've got a load of stuff that you just don't care about.

I might agree, it looks like a nice phone. Possibly better than the Android competition. But the underlying issue I have with the iPhone, is the lack of freedom I get with it. I don't want to (and more or less can't) be restricted to iTunes

Ruh Roh. The service I'm using to acquire accommodation seems to be dependent on AWS. Guess I'm going to be homeless tomorrow if it doesn't get fixed. :X Note to self. Don't ever build a service reliant on AWS.
