When people say tech company they mean tech margins. There is no indication that Tesla will ever be able to achieve that.

Yeah, that's pretty much in line with what every report has said, and that's even keeping in mind American car factories have higher injury rates than their foreign competitors in general.

Tesla's injury rates were 30% higher than the average car company, and close to double in the case of serious injuries: https://www.revealnews.org/article/tesla-says-its-factory-is... And that's not including

As long as they don't save the equity holders or bondholders in the process, I'm fine with that. The company is a financial disaster, but is currently contracted for some essential work.

Yeah, Amazon has stopped issuing purchase orders for a huge number of non-essentials, which probably contributes to really high delivery estimates. If anything is out of stock at their warehouse, they have no idea when they might have room

Delivery estimates are very much an underpromise, overdeliver thing, so that makes sense.

The 30% survival rate means that 30% of patients are saved by ventilators. People who aren't dying without a ventilator aren't put on a ventilator, which is an extremely invasive medical procedure.

This is an entirely self-serving PR move. Anyone at Tesla knows that getting government approval on any sort of ventilator they construct will require at least 6 months, probably 12, of rigorous testing. This isn't doing anything to tr

Things will not be normal for a long time. This is going to be a severe global recession and thats going to depress auto sales a lot. Also, oil is $24 a barrel, which makes electric cars at even more a disadvantage.
