Why canvas and not SVG? The code is gross, I know you mention it in the comments. It definitely affects who will use your library. If someone is sane about a consistent clean codebase, they would never use this lib. Cool idea and execution

Getting huge amounts of money from an online campaign rather than working for it via contract work? Seems like a way to spoil a child.

Kickstarter is really not the place for these things. The mother should just chock it up and pay for the camp, no need to create a campaign -- it looks like the camp was already paid for in the first place. I don't like people asking for ch

I'd say you should keep the app up and change some of the names. You did them a huge favor by creating an app and they give you some contrived robotic response? Fuck them. They thrive on stolen content anyhow, it's not like they have much o

Just in case anyone is curious, the error was having `sizeof(key - r)` instead of `sizeof(key) - r` Rookie mistake!

I can't count the times that references have caused wierd errors in my PHP code. Definitely a good recommendation.

I'm suspect about how there are no movement controls. It's all prescripted. There aren't any physics either. Not impressive.

Giving a take-home test and then remanding students for working together is just silly. You don't wave your ice cream in front of the monkey cage if you want to keep it.

I suppose but I would think that he would know mavericks like himself would never agree to work for a corporation under someone else, they would rather freelance until they can conquer that corp, sell to that corp, or create a new market. B

Most of being a good programmer is conceptualization of large infrastructures and knowing enough language constructs to build that infrastructure in terms of code. The best way to get better at this is to build real, practical applications,

You would think with Bill Gates being the most influential philanthropist in the world that it would have been done by now. One huge way to help the world is to encourage intellectual/technological growth. Maybe this actually was partly bro

As long as the salt is added for each recursive iteration, it should destroy any kind of cryptographic hints given by hashing a hash. So you shouldn't be doing F(F(F(X))) rather it should be F(SALT + F(SALT + F(SALT+X))) But anyhow, I was t

Yes but it's not like the random hacker has a 600 gig rainbow table for MD5('DATSALT' + PW). If you REALLY want to do the right thing when it comes to storing passwords, you need to use a hash algo that is computationally hard enough to bru

I'm a smoker and was actually thinking of trying it but a large part of me hates that I have to spend $50 on a service that I've never even tried before. The monryback guarantee helps but I still can't help but remain hesitant about purchas

Makes sense, normal sized mp3 players have been overrun by phones. I would bet on the shuffle/nano selling the best of all models in the next few years because those players are actually divergent in the fitness market as well as the music

Call it what you want but the web is a way better development environment for UIs than anything else. If the device isn't mobile, speed isn't an issue. The only reason web apps are lackluster now is for speed reasons. I have developed my co

This crashed my OSX Lion running Chrome, lost all my work and had to reboot. Just tested Firefox too, crashes as well. Safari doesn't load anything, just a bunch of PNG binary text? Might want to work on compatibility ;)

For this kind of algorithmic heuristic work, the prize is measly. This takes both genius AND gruntwork, I would do it though just for the prestige of helping the patent offices if it wasn't so much work.
