I think what makes it different is the importance of the project. JavaScript garbage collection is here to stay, and it seems like it's the most sticky one of all the examples you mentioned. Other languages and applications/librar

https://www.semianalysis.com/ is the best blog by far...all the YouTubers (Asianometry as well) get the analysis from that blog.

I'm paying for Youtube Premium and still feel like being the product: I can't turn off youtube shorts, and I can't see downvotes (both product decisions making sense for ad-based model).

It's specifically Waymo. Google generally seems to be much more safety oriented than Cruise. The Cruise experiment should just be stopped at this point.

That's everything but random. Maybe in US it's legal, but I prefer Europe to stay a safe continent with as few firearms as possible.

Boring is a sign of maturing: the focus should shift from algorithmic innovations to testing / validation / proof that the implementation is correct, which requires a mostly monoculture.

If you like gron, try fastgron :) It supports everything gron supports, but 50x faster.

I think it's more interesting to see how undervalued AMD is instead of focusing on NVIDIA which seems reasonably priced. AI is not showing any sign of slowing down so far.

Look at the good thing instead: they are catching up, and open source devs are starting to be serious about AMD because of its price/performance. I believe it's a highly undervalued stock right now.

I don't hate on him because for me those SPACs were obvious money grabbers (I won't invest in an IRC client/server architecture. It can be useful but not _that_ useful. Virgin Galactic was also clearly nothing like SpaceX, es

That shouldn't be a problem, they all go to the store buffer of the CPU, which should be able to handle 1 write/cycle.

Another option would be a vector of 256 16 bit entries and keeping the pointer advance vector as you suggested.

AI market just caught up with gaming this year. But aa it's growing faster than gaming, in a few years GPUs have to improve more in AI performance (matmul ops and interconnect) than gaming.

Japan has already a great economy, but it has fallen behind in the happiness index. Trying to milk the population even more for taxes may not be the best decision for the country.

He put his name on worldcoin before OpenAI got so serious. Now he can't really back out, and can't say bad about it anymore, but you bet he doesn't want any association with it anymore.

Using atomics is easier than warp operations (using warp shuffle for example), but warp shuffle is quite fast. I guess if determinism is so important implementations can be changed, it is just maybe not that high priority.

It seems like you don't even know what you want. If it's a red flag, you should just end the date fast. If it's not, have fun with astrology instead of just ,,faking it''. The cool thing is as it's all made up,

Maybe you should look at the code base before throwing a tantrum on a hacking blog. Try adding a new feature to Tensorflow / PyTorch, do the same for TinyGrad and you won't have this question anymore.
