Problem with used phones: no guarantee of water resistance. Many of the resold phones got their battery replaced, which itself it a good thing, but they are usually not applying the gasket required for water resistence.

ACK. The best part is the one-time-pay option to unlock background sync with many different triggers which can be combined - mine 03:00 am with charger connected in my WLAN. Love the software.

Which is still a workound and sometimes buggy - it overwrites an existing search engine. In my case its google. But when I want to use google, I can’t - I have to switch to another browser or deactivate the kagi addon/plugin.

The big problem there is no easy and consistent way to query RDAP because there are no clients in Debian or Ubuntu. There is one in the experimental stage [1] in Debian, so perhaps in Debian 14? And yes, I know, there are Perl-Apps [2], G
