Imagine having a piece of software where you have 95% global market dominance, a near complete monopoly. And then decide not to update said software in the slightest (other than security fixes) for 6 straight years. Kind of mind blowing.

The range[1] you speak of could definitely be interesting to add. There can already be quite a difference between translations on this spectrum which could help this tool pick up even more possibilities for particular meanings (particularly

Some modern translations might have copyright rules preventing this without express permission (which may or may not be difficult to acquire, obviously other sites/apps have done it). They all have different rules and limitations but I

This is sounds pretty great. Is there though that much of a dev ramp up increase from using SQLite over MySQL/PGSQL though?

This site says 50% but the data is a bit old. I remember seeing other sites in the past year quoting percentages in the 90's. https://www.integritylending.com/understanding-what-a-federa...

Interesting, so are you saying that the RAW signal coming from the hardware is already often compressed even before hitting the main software compression?

That's a good point, need to remember all of the work the mods do.

I find searching reddit for niche things to be at least useful enough to point me in the right direction on some topics. But wow, discussion, even the small subs can be pretty toxic. It's sad as I'd love to have better discussion

Not immediately obvious from the Readme, but does this rely on YT always saving a providing download of the original un-altered video file? If not, then it must be saving the data in a manner that is retrievable even after compression and r

They still do if you pay for Prime. I was surprised to see that even RAW files (which are uncompressed and quite large) were uploaded and stored with no issues. Not the same as "hiding" data but might still be possible.

I don't think they are terminated every Nkm anymore. We have been able for quite some time to re-energize the signal directly in the optical core without needing to convert it to electric then back. https://en.wikipedia.org&

First coming to mind, HackerNews. No images, no ads, no complex settings UI, no complex points/karma system. Just text and links, it does what it's built for and does it well.
