you could call n=Rand() once (instead of in each recursive call) and then find the nth item

I have TSA pre check. Pros: - it's sometimes faster Cons: - it doesn't work everywhere - it's sometimes a hassle to add to the reservation - the regular line is often fairly short anyway There's another con for me becaus

Do you think it's possible to find accurate net present values for climate change investments? It's clearly possible to find accurate measurements of metrics such as temperature, CO2, etc

a lot of consumer goods have negative ROI and are still very successful products. people don't just buy things because they'll make/save money

I would highly recommend completely ignoring scalability for your MVP. Choose tech you enjoy writing/learning. Right now you don't have enough info to make a good performance decision, so you might as well choose a stack that wil

I think the title is a bit exaggerated. 30% of millennials think this, which is high, but not enough to generalize imo. Also maybe I'm cheap but you can easily go on free dates...

if the stacks are mostly the same and you have far fewer processors than frames, you could use copy on write to share stacks not useful but maybe interesting if you're into this kind of thing

Manhattan is behind Staten Island and Brooklyn. Brooklyn has a natural barrier thanks to Fire Island. So what remains is Staten Island. i don't think this will be very effective tho

if the checker can prove that the state of A is not important to B, then it can check them independently. this is the biggest difference between relatively naive checkers like tla+ and your brain. you don't think about all the states

TLA+ is great, but it struggles so much to handle lots of states... Maybe that's a good thing since it encourages very symmetric designs, but it bothers me

1. why C++14? what about 17/20/beyond? 2. I think code review stack exchange is ok for less mainstream features. usually one or two good comments from each one
