I totally disagree with the article. Our calendar is 1000s of years of technical debt. Surely they will understand things built on top of other things for centuries and centuries..

I'm very, very tired of the size of the backlog of stuff I probably ought to Google. It's too freaking long. Just make it easy to do without looking it up!

I have four teenage sons. "treating them as equals" is super, duper silly. Their brains are totally, completely not regulated enough to make good decisions still, and that only changes usually VERY close to graduation.

I can assume why, but ports 80 and 443 make it a no go a lot of places.

The last time I saw it enforced, it was for a MUCH more material change of the title. Something like, "New Product Announced!" to "Change you password now!", hiding it was basically an ad, etc. This doesn't mentio

Actually noticed the same. Saw a spam email and was confused. Had that gmail address a decade or two, and don't remember the last time I saw one.

I went to buy a k620 six months ago. It was $100. It's back down to $30, like it was 2 years ago. So I've definitely seen movement, just maybe not at the top?

The clickbait-y headline made me not want to click on the article, so pointing out the wording isn't a bad idea. I almost didn't read the article due to the title.

Until recently I'd say only a phone call, but even that is quickly going by the wayside. Otherwise... If I'm an MSP, my remote control software is almost the only thing I trust anymore, and that's had problems.

Self check-out is an age test. If you have it and constantly whine about it, you're probably over at least 50. Most younger folks don't mind.

I've replaced several MikroTik 's with something more expensive several times due to just being too slow under load , it's just how they are. You need to spend real $ to get real speed, even for gigabit connections. I know
