Because it essentially doesn't? At least when I tried looking a few months ago, it was really hard to find any commercially available RISC-V SoCs, let alone high performance ones. Sure there's little hobbyist boards going for $200

Silly question: is this reasonable or unreasonable from Apple? I could see it going either way.

Same. I landed in Turkey last month and picked up a Europe-wide eSIM via the airport WiFi. Quick and easy. It saved me faffing with storing my local SIM somewhere safe for a month and from having to find a SIM store that isn't trying t

Right, but that's not the topic at hand. For better or for worse the title is a little misleading.

I'm happy to presume it wasn't your intent, but I thought I'd share that this reply comes across, to me at least, as pretty condescending and preachy.

A venture capital news aggregator seems an odd place to vaguely preach your anti-capitalist views. Nonetheless, what exactly does capitalism do to make "digital stuff" worse?

I think they'd be best served not using the words "Rust" nor "GitBook" in their marketing, given it lacks most of the features of GitBook (that's probably why it isn't free!); mdBook appears to just be a s

Linux absolutely has a plethora of software one can use to improve security - AppArmor, Flatpak, Snap, and whatnot; the "all or nothing" approach the author mentioned is also not inherent to Linux, just a common setup people use.
