This specific, quoted, phrase doesn't bother memuch, but I agree that reading the whole article gave me, from top to bottom, a sour taste of personal branding and developer marketing that really doesn't sell it (to me).

I've witnessed firsthand that the main problem of Teams is that Slack is now so deeply wired into our daily working life that people cplain about Teams just because it differs from Slack. It doesn't even matter if the choices and

I wrote that it is an old person's battle. And I'd like to clarity that never did I mean that the knowledge and history fueling this so-called battle was meant to the trash. Quite the opposite actually. As a self-described old per

Since you have decided to expand beyond tech, I'd like to share a possibly optimistic perspective. We are instructed to think that progress is a straight line. Without any surprise, it is not. But I like to picture it with a direction

I am very surprised at the article as the Fields medal has always been promoted as such: encouraging promising young mathematical talents. I am even more surprised that,of all places, here on HN I get to be the first to comment that. How di

Congrats on the hard work and I wish you all the best. Just one comment though: Looking at all what Uber is going through at the moment, I'm not sure you're doing yourself a favor with the comparison. All the best!

If you only consider noisy cafés with bad drinks and loud people, sure, better not go there. Bit some cafés are very quiet, have delicious drinks and food, good music and are (IMO) perfect for some light to mild-focused tasks.

You're bringing a paradox here: "Owning a house is cheaper if you buy it cash, then you don't need a high salary". But you DO need a high salary in the first place. And with that big salary, you will buy a NICE house, wh

Funny how one might think that what is prevalent worldwide in this era looks like a natural trend. To a goldfish in an aquarium, it is also very natural that food appears from above, as per magic.
