Nothing is surprising once you know the answer. It takes some mental gymnastics to put yourself in someone else's shoes before they discovered it and thus making it less "basic".

Either you got used to their evolved dark patterns or you haven't booked with them recently. I was also Pro-Ryanair: they allowed to see friends and family across Europe with a student budget. Now, it's an 8-step booking process w

If you're using Firefox, it's a known bug and you can fix it by reverting the bitwarden extension and then wait for the fix.

It's in their roadmap, from what they said. I'd imagine they wouldn't reject someone who wanted to contribute that feature to the project.

Vision is not a dictator, it's just having half an idea of where you'd love to be in X years. It can and probably will move as you age and gain experience. But if you're thinking you'd love to be your own boss and, as yo

Sure but "the other stuff" is Lady Gaga and Bunny, which we won't have issue finding a copy of. Sure, there is AI stuff but also not.

You have a wayyy too skewed perception of the general tech person. I normally get way better and varied recommendations from my philosophy friends, for example. Here it's generally just the usual mainstream sci-fi stuff about tech, spa

Truly amazing work. I couldn't help but being sad of the less popular songs not being currently stored, as those are definitely the ones more in risk of being lost forever. If you like the goal and you have even a few 100gb available o

The main difference is that people can re-host and seed part of the data by offering space in their own servers. If AA goes down, it's not the end of it all, a new one comes back up and the seeders are still there.

I've had the same exact feeling for a while: several people known to be in the files are not the purest people we know and I'm not sure them being there will have any effect whatsoever. Taking Trump, what would really change to hi

There are literally less than 20 top level comments and this one is (at least for me) the 2nd or 3rd. Instead of a nothingburger, you could have used your academic prowess to break down the top 1/2 misconceptions with expertise. You mi

I think you say that so easily because it doesn't actually impact you. It'd be absolutely pissed off if I had to constantly watch out how I naturally write because otherwise people will shame me for thinking I had used AI.

Graceful arguing right there. If you feel like enlightening us how China fared worse than LATAM or you can avoid being all snarky like that.

China's external turmoil can be boxed within the 1800s and I don't think it included: 80+% of casualties, forced religious conversion, forced language conversion, wholesale destruction of books and culture, etc.
