Alcohol is definitely regulated and fast food is too a broad term to mean anything. But yeah, gambling should also be heavily regulated (as alcohol) and it is far from a "little pleasure", it can easily become an addition even wit

Totally agree, climate change is highlighting the places we messed up but had enough stable weather patterns to hide it. Lots of areas are getting absolutely flooded around Europe and it's basically because they drainer or changed the

There are companies built around sustainability and other concepts which are for the consumer. The difference here is for-profit and for-profit at all costs.

Looks nice and fun but the "see-through" font for the titles in the screenshots gives me some deep and primordial unease, not sure why.

Brexit by now should be seen far what it was: a farce of misinformation and lies which should have been halted as the playing field had been contaminated. Also a great example of why you can't have a single and very important choice be

To be absolutely fair, after the iPhone 4, they could and should have totally focused on repairability above everything else. Sure we got some more pixels out of cameras but that's not much when you've got to throw them away after

If that was how Apple behaved, it would actually excusable but it did oh so many things which make absolutely no sense other than "business sense". Why did they have to use some super strong glue for their batteries when a tape or

I think for many Europeans, we 100% know that these changes are thanks to the EU: GDPR, right to be forgotten, right to repair, etc. I think it's some people from the outside (i.e. the US) who are absolutely anti-government but pro cor

Yep but many many more have handwritten menus in kanji on the walls, I can read many kanjis by now and I'm still pretty swamped by trying to interpret every shop's different handwriting. At least once you start decoding the drink

Depends on where this process is well-documented: if it is available on iFixit or somewhere super obvious but if I've got to go to xda or some Russian hacking forum, download a bunch of files strictly internal to the company and hope s

Let's just remember that the reason behind these "innovations" are strictly coming because of external pressures, if it wasn't for those, they would probably make the phones implode into a tiny black hole and charge you

Everything is a brick until you figure a way to fix it. I thought I bricked my old phone but it turns out I just needed to open the phone, short a couple of pins 5-10 times and trying to quickly boot into flashboot, repeat if it didn't

Wonderful read but that ending bit about taking the video truly hurt... It kind of shows that no one can be an expert in everything at the same time.

I, as a game developer, also ask of a tiny bit of fair play amongst ourselves. The game isn't fun to play only because they slapped BOTW + pokemon copycats with guns. So, why did they decide to go so much on your face when they could h

I think that's the pitfall: there are infinite things a skilled developer can do within "mere hours of work". The key is to find which ones are the most effective use of one's limited hours. I developed a small daily gam

This has nothing to do with that. The gameplay is Zelda BOTW glued together to Pokemon (even the initial items and the intro scene is obscenely identical). Most "pals" are lifted from Pokemon, as I was able to say things like &quo
