Hah good one. It's a google maps feature. I think there is a way to disable it. But I could say that ski slopes are there to make a job position even more attractive :)

Right, this is an issue. It's need to be decided what to do when there is no location. Said that. I think that the physical location is important (obviously for whoishiring.io is) even if the position is purely REMOTE. Some companies w

I'm aware if its existence, although if I run search on the job posts for tags like lxc / lxd. The chart line was flat. I'm not too sure if this is something comparable. I wrote this blog post.

I agree with the case of Go, the std lib does good enough job to be full-toolbox. Go is getting really big. If want you can check the numbers from the first part [1] where I mention that. You can find number other languages as well there. B

I wrote the blog, apologises. I didn't include .NET frameworks for only one reason numbers were marginal (it's Hacker News after all). I didn't want to add 20 different lines on the charts. I didn't include many things f

I hate the name, the website, the logo. I hate them all. But I guess this all my fault. And, I agree. PageDuty is one of those terrible product ideas executed right. Good luck guys.

I've just run the query and it's 6 (not this month, all time) with Beijing as a location. My best guess for China is: they have to have something similar, although obviously not in English. They have a huge market with limited rea

Please keep in mind that this only Hacker News Who is hiring, maybe other sources are more popular there. Also, nearly every big city was already announced as next Silicon Valley by the press by now. The press is creating huge illusion here
