It's funny because this is probably a really non-standard sentiment but I really wish that they would make an electron app out of this. Installing it is reasonably easy but definitely beyond a lot of people who could get value from it.

This is really well designed. Kudos. Especially good is treating the Gemfile.lock as input for the the file system image and requiring it.

Interesting. I'm the opposite. Dyslexic in my native German but fine in English. I read all my books in English and much prefer English for text messages. Speaking works either way.

Btw, that was the pricing model that I launched my ecommerce platform with. I only pivoted it to the now common saas subscription after the first year (basically a move of desperation at the time)

I randomly learned OBS a while ago for doing some twitch streams in the evenings. I'm so glad I did. I run a 6,000 people company during the day and have OBS setup to push into Google Meet. I've done townhall with live on-screen Q

I just posted a bounty for making this a build in feature. Lots of work happening on the RFC and some working prototypes already: https://twitter.com/tobi/status/1242641154576965634

Given the occasion, could someone write a paragraph about what downstream effects are expected by wireguard existing? So far I’ve seen mostly technical arguments for it. VPNs have become a more important piece of infrastructure now. The mos

its just because my home office is a gaming PC. But now it turns out its significantly better because of the obs-virtualcam plugin working well on windows. This should be a default feature, hence the bounty.

This article isn't clear about it but yes - its about the amount people sell on both platforms, not stock price. Now, is that a useful basis of comparison? It's fun fact but not much more given the difference of the platforms.

We really don't think these are good articles to be written about Shopify. Shopify is a company that got big by totally being in the background and making other brands look good instead of itself. I fear what happened in the last littl

It’s been a long time. If you ever saw the JavaScript “wat” talk, you get the idea. We have since rewritten liquid mostly in C and it has a strict parser mode that’s done with proper approach instead of my hacky regexp based approach.
