You can get blank 'java' smart cards and load open source applets on them, you don't need Yubico. Personally I only tried IsoApplet, but openpgp applet should work too.

I asked why there wasn't an implementation of Rakudo for CLR* some time ago, one of the reasons given was that JVM has InvokeDynamic aka indy, while CLR does not. It also has to be said that even their JVM implementation fell behind Mo

What you're talking about can still be done without macros, in fact AFAIK REBOL is known for exactly that. > Because using macros is one way to implement simple, nice, clean, maintainable eDSLs. FTFY

If possible, do things without macros. Problem is - it's pretty much always possible to do things without macros.

I find this attitude "shoot first (write code), ask questions later" as something to be admired and a bit worrisome at the same time. Nothing against people learning stuff, but why does it have to be promoted this way? Lack of hum

Using a 3rd party site to query HTML (which you should be able to do yourself, plenty of tools for that) isn't a fantastic idea. This one, for example http://www.videlibri.de/xidel.html#examples

There's a gradient between 'free' and 'held against his will', I'm sure there are plenty of ways Snowden can be discouraged from taking a chance like that.
