Wow, really? Honestly I've never used the z or j flags, I could not even tell you what they do. I use `tar caf whatever.(txz|tgz|tar.lz|tar.lzo) /path/to/files` to create, and just `tar xf whatever` to extract.

I'd have thought so as well, but the github repo was the first result for "lego encrypt", and this thread the second. Not so bad.

Why take a drug when you can just have a brain implant? Being serious, an implant is permanent whereas that site claims MDMA averages 3.8 years. Brain chips are so futuristic too.

I use a self signed cert between CloudFlare and my server, I actually couldn't get it to work without doing that, for some reason.

That blog post, very creative. Such a good idea. All I've done with the image integration is show a 128px frown emoji when a script exits wrong.

Yep. As a non-American, it gets a little boring when people keep bringing America up in threads that aren't about America.

This works wonderfully! With an image size 123456x123456, I made this happen: http://i.imgur.com/2Dgrazj.png I killed it at about 25GB memory usage, who knows how high it would have climbed otherwise.

>For the second year in a row, the FTC traveled to DEF CON Bloody hell, for some reason this sentence just fills me with glee. I'm not even American, but it's so good to see government agencies get involved like this.

This is not an authoritative or trustworthy measure in the least, but from running Little Snitch (and denying most things), I'd say OS X tries to contact maybe a quarter of those domains, maybe half as many. And that's not just on

I absolutely love strange unicode strings. It's handy if you ever want to find out what a server's running. One time, I put a bunch of emoji's in a GET param of a Google site, then got a big Java error page. I had no idea Goo
