Real World Asset Financing as being explored by Centrifuge and MakerDAO is pretty interesting. Tapping into the yields and capital availability of DeFi to provide rates for trade financing (Harbor Trade), Revenue Based Financing (Fortunafi)

Also, Facebook and other big tech companies are way less likely to get hacked thanks to more established data handling practices. Breaches still occasionally happen, but you're more likely to see data breaches from these data broker co

I think this is an incredibly cynical and awful take. The sushi community is really vibrant, to the point where they backed off from the whole phantom troupe proposal because of pushback. Also, not sure where money laundering and the cartel

My reaction - so what? Facebook has been heavily investing resources into the metaverse for a while - building up various experiences, snapping up game studios, even Occulus itself! They just haven't bothered calling it a metaverse unt

Difficulty bomb ensures that forking is incredibly difficult. The code change to defeat the code change is easy to make (just delete a section of code) but you have to distribute clients that ship with the difficulty bomb removed on top of

My take is that Facebook is being a lot more realistic about this than Neurallink is. Nothing wrong with being lofty, but with the money and manpower that FB has put behind BCI, versus the talent flight from Neurallink – FB will likely be t

Here ye, here ye. It's just the direction things will go towards, and I know most other people will feel uncomfortable(and so do I) but I think it'll be something that could be changed by changing societal expectations. An analogy
