I don't think King was saying "never use a thesaurus", he was just pointing out that relying on it too much is not a good way to develop as a writer. The way you do that is by reading great books.

That happens a lot at Waffle House, too. Also hundreds of teenagers in cars hanging out in a parking lot on Saturday night is a thing in a lot of small midwest towns where there's not much to do after the chorin' is finished.

Don't forget Townes Van Zandt. Colter Wall and Sturgill Simpson are great examples of authentic-sounding country music that has nothing to do with "Bro Country."

In the US, they usually call it "CB Radio" (Citzen's Band) not "walkie talkie" (unless the radio is hand operated and not mounted to the dashboard).

Back in the 1990's, I used to drive across the US a lot. Not a professional driver, just some big road trips and also helping a few friends move to other cities. Our fave thing to do on these road trips was listen to small town radio,

I don't really know or care about the fine details of Musk (or Depp's) wealth. All I'm pointing out is that Musk seems to have a more moderate lifestyle. He doesn't live like the archetype of a rockstar or billionaire.

Not only that, but Depp is notoriously irresponsible with his wealth. Before he had to liquidate some properties because of the trial, he had an excess of houses, condos, boats, cars, and all kinds of expensive to maintain personal holdings

I didn't argue that more people should be software engineers than nurses. It's simply that engineering isn't considered to be the kind of career that women should pursue. Yet there are women here that are interested in it, bu
