Anybody who forms their opinion of any US state from papers like the Guardian UK instead of actually, you know, visiting the state in question usually results in people developing very stupid and ill-conceived impressions. It's as if

Eh, Twitter is not "rapidly decaying." It's faster and more fun than ever, especially if you're using it from outside the USA where they are adding capacity. Way better than back in the pre-Musk era when they were trying

I'm working on upgrading my internal network to be able to take advantage of upgrading to 10gig. I'm curious about the best way to do that. What are the upgrades you're thinking about doing?

The entire textbook industry is run by cheap-jack mafiosi, and their "executives" should be reminded of this and shamed at every opportunity. Of course, I'm not claiming this would be effective since these people have no sham

Indeed. The idea that software engineers could be in the top 85th percentile of American income and be identified as "indentured servants" is an absurd notion.

This is precisely what the parent commenter doesn't understand. He thinks the job of a programmer is all about technical skills. In fact that is only a part of the job. You need to be able to write, speak, and communicate in fluent E
