Because Ubuntu Linux is considered part of a community of free and open source software, and it's also an OS. These are clear differences.

Create a start-up with: 3 way email sync (mobile/web/desktop) like exchange server (or other enterprise stuff) A slick feature rich UI Custom domains via MX Solid spam filtering There is nothing out there that does this for under 10$/month

The 2$ plan does not sync with anything. The 3$ plan only sync's mobile with webmail (big woop). For "real" business email you need rackspace exchange which is 10$ a month per user, this adds up very quickly with a lot of users.

As was found via a reddit user, McAfee posted as "Stuffmonger" on a drug forum called http://www.bluelight.ru about his use ( with pictures and detials) of MDPV. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methylenedioxypyrovalerone Here is his thread

As a developer who has good business sense I immediately look at their pricing. I am very impressed, this pretty much blows the other services out of the water. Switching to mailjet would save me thousands of $ a year, I was already in the

This has certainly upped the competition for newletters services like mailchimp, campaign monitor, aweber, etc. The price is going to sink them.

Though I agree with your point that the confrontation is different , your wrong when it comes to passive surveillance. It's not 1980 anymore, surveillance is often stored and put through pattern recognition analysis (in real-time), heavily

The part where I said common sense is meant to be used, it implies context. I can create an infinitely scalable server and you can come in and drop a sledge hammer on it...does that mean I shouldn't use the word.

Why did this get so much traction on hackernews? This was posted on Reddit and killed with one comment the tl;dr of it : The client was incompetent and irresponsible and likes to blame people when things go wrong.

This is silly, infinite scaling doesn't mean "I can do whatever I want and it better work". Use some common sense.

Please consider security through common sense. The shed where you store your lawn mower doesn't have the same security as your bank for a reason. This is as exciting as watching a traffic jam, oh no hide your license plates!

I agree with the hardware review, my major concern is not the cool digital part but the actual bits and pieces because locks break all the time, and this is essentially adding another layer that can break.

I don't agree with this at all, user-agents...really? Go create a really, really smart bot, you will instantly know the limitations they have. It's pretty trivial with enough data and honeypots to separate them from actual people.
