Then why did NPR have a ton of content on their website about how absolutely critical federal funding was to their operation?

Yeah? Lockheed Martin could be reasonably described as "federally funded".

It doesn't matter in the slightest if they do this explicitly . NPR would be stupid to bite the hand that feeds it.

Because the units are highly divisible and the divisibility can be increased easily if it becomes necessary. When someone loses/destroys bitcoin, they are effectively donating the value to everyone else who still holds bitcoin.

An agency that is federally funded through 1 layer of intermediaries is still, in the most practical sense, federally funded.

Say we're in a universe with a +- metric signature. We're looking at tx, ignoring yz. Rotating within a 45 degree cone (which hides the hyperbolic geometry of +- space) is easy. That's just normal acceleration. Rotating more

I wouldn't be surprised if AI research moves towards training models to use bolt-on peripherals like scratchpad memory. Transformers showed us an interface for addressing, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone figures out a way to

Where is nestle "stealing the water from various regions"? I'm sure they've been involved in water rights disputes, as has any large water consumer, but I'm skeptical that "stealing" is the most objective

When you finally cave and jury-rig bolt on language features like a decade after the fact, that's not quite as ad-hoc as what they had for the first decade (generics for builtins only), but it's still pretty ad-hoc in the sense of

This is a truly unreal level of blub paradox and/or brown nosing. It's almost a complete inversion of reality. Go's maintainers had to be beaten into bolting on a poorly-done implementation of polymorphism over like a decade.

This is a pretty good vignette of how Go is designed. "Users don't need this feature (immutability, polymorphism, etc.), let's not include it. Ah crap, turns out we actually need it for a core language feature. Is there a les

Put internet of shit devices on their own VLAN(s). Almost all wifi APs today support multiple SSIDs with separate VLANs. Have your firewall block inbound connections to devices on that VLAN. Every OS firewall has built-in support for this.

I meant more between e.g. a Scarlett 18i20 and a Motu 828. I went with the Scarlett because A) it was relatively cheap and B) it had quite good reviews, but I'm curious what I'm losing on a technical basis by going for the $500 op
