It's actually hilarious. So many people enjoy sharing their opinion on the headline rather than the content of the article.

It's crazy how people still consider Roblox a single game. The platform has so many games that it went through distinct cycles of popular genres. Back when I played (2009ish) the dominating genres were "zombie defense" [1] an

Honestly, I would only learn chording (steno) if you find it interesting/fun, and not because you think it will save time in the long run after the initial time investment. This isn't a trivial weekend adventure -- it's a leg

In my opinion, more competition is better for the consumer, even if these is a slight hit to convenience. That's simply the nature of more choices -- the freedom to choose results in the burden of choosing. But obviously I cannot make

I agree, honestly I use w3schools more than MDN when I'm googling stuff. Most of the time I'm just looking for a quick example of whatever HTML/CSS I need to implement, and w3schools provides that perfectly while MDN is a bit

This is the part of the article that stood out to me most. I definitely don't have the confidence to spend my entire paycheck on a just-for-fun project, especially considering how many projects I planned on starting but never did. Kudo

Never said it was the best example. Just said it was my favorite. It's pretty much content aware scaling on a still image. If you want one on a real video, I guess there's this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8k3

A non-practical application is for funny memes. Someone figured out Photoshop's Content Aware Scaling feature can hilariously distort faces [1], and people have been using it memes since. My current favorite: https://www.you

Technically, the Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin, is what the US Tiktok was based off of, and Douyin was launched in 2016 prior to the 2017 musical.ly acquisition. But yes, US TikTok is absolutely built off of musical.ly services. A lot o

I get that the change in stroke width is supposed to create "weight", but it honestly looks too half-thin and half-bold, or like the text was written in wet paint and the paint is dripping down. Pretty confusing to read with.

I don't bother traveling with the Advantage2 at all... it's a bit too big to do that comfortably. I find it pretty easy to switch between laptop keyboard and Advantage2, so no problems there. So the Advantage2 remains on my desk w

I hate to add to the Advantage2 fan club, but Kinesis absolutely knocked it out of the park in terms of ergonomics. Makes constant typing ridiculously comfortable.

I'm not sure if I agree with the Freestyle being an equivalent alternative. The Freestyle uses a traditional row-staggered layout while this keyboard uses a column-staggered layout. A column-staggered layout IMO is much more comfortabl

Yes, I'm disappointed to see that this isn't a contoured keyboard -- still waiting for a contoured keyboard (e.g. Advantage2) with the customization of the ErgoDox without having to build it myself (e.g. Dactyl Manuform).
