Sometimes the shock value is gone but it really has to do with context. The song is rather light and poppy but the way 'fuck you' is put in there is meant to be offensive and that is when the shock value still exists. If you stub your toe a

Is it uncommon for European restaurants to bring out another plate/silverware if asked, or just considered bad manners? I'm genuinely curious, but perhaps I misunderstood what you were saying. Also I'm curious if doggy bags imply the same c

That seems kind of weird, most places will bring out an extra plate for you to share/split with someone as soon as you ask. I can however see them laugh at the half portions at full price (just take the leftovers if you feel bad for wasting

Okay sure, but how do you get from the introductory docs (which are far and wide, as well as lacking in quite a few areas) to reference documentation. I can see how ruby-doc can be a good resource but only for those that know the language

Compare that with this: http://ruby-doc.org/ruby-1.9/index.html I find that page (docs.python.org) easy to navigate using the side menu and the structure of the document the fact that it is so big doesn't quite bother me, I already know m

Even the central documentation is split between two subdomains with edge cases for each. You have the api reference and then you have the guides (which is much better docs but still lacking in navigation and extensiveness.) It isn't neces

Isn't that only from a large community, when I think of documentation I think of a central place to find it and this is why I use python and not ruby. As an aside the ruby docs are annoying for me to use however I quite enjoy the way python

Personally I think of it as a value added markup as a good thing. Using S3 would cost me more per month unless I implemented a similar system to tarsnap.

Isn't appsumo a temporary deal? At least I took it that way, kind of like those cable deals where it is 30 dollars a month for 6 months so long as you sign for 2 years except with this you don't sign a contract you just can't use them for
