Excellent idea. Real Analysis was the hardest course I took back in college. Too bad I've lost the book over the years. It's an old edition.

"Social Housing" sounds like a bad idea. Whenever something is "socially owned," it means it is controlled by a few who have wormed their way into the power position to control whom get to utilize that something. It co

The memory used by the Windows kernel is either Paged or Non-Paged. Non-Paged means pinning the memory in physical RAM. Paged means it might be swapped out to disk and paged back in when needed. OP was working on BitLocker a file system

I saw one of the surgery videos recently. The doctor was saying, "Alexa, turn on suction." It boggled my mind. There could be so many points of failure.

Sorry if I came off negatively. I was responding to OP. Your products look good. Here's a bit of my experience on using NVR if that helps in better product design. Most NVR's are PC + powered switch built into one. I found them

Here's a setup that works. Get POE cameras. Get a powered switch with sufficient power to power the cameras. The cameras and the switch form their own subnet. Get a PC with two Ethernet jacks (or an Ethernet and a WIFI). Install N

Yes. I have got a "used" HP 800 G4 DM on the cheap, which looks brand new still wrapped with plastic skin, as my camera NVR machine. It barely uses 2%~3% CPU processing 8 camera feeds and pumping out videos to 3 monitors. The mi

These cheap mini PC look nice on paper, but I have bad experience with them. They tend to break after a while. They got shut down due to overheat; their small form factor make ventilation difficult. BIOS was set to overclocking by defaul

Zig actually has a very nice abstraction for SIMD in the form of vector programming. The size of the vector is agnostic to the underlying cpu architecture. The compiler or LLVM will generate code for using SIMD128, 256, or 512 registers. An
