Maynard is too eager. He talked too much that is a coincidence. But the fact is that he is a member of the polymath project and all the works are consequences rather than coincidence.

That is only a tactic move. it is Zhang's work inspired him to look for a quick better alternative. Zhang showed " there is gold! " And then Maynard ran towards that.

I did. And part of my comments are even from the later part of his article on the criticizing of high school geometry. he talked from the real subjects of geometry side, and looked down the formal language presentation in the textbooks. But

Julia's benchmarks just turned me off. They are ignoring the "reasonable idioms" of each language, and specifically focusing only on RECURSIVE and ITERATIVE algos. And also ignoring other competing peers like lua based GSL Shell. Please re

No. This is not. Not ONE gambling. It is thousands of thousands of gamblings with a consistent winning ratio. cannot be oversimplified to a symmetric chance of win or lose.

I feel sick to read this. The kids learned the world in a twisted way. I really think kids should know how transistor work before work on computer. Otherwise he took too much unreal things for granted.
