I think it's great you decided to pursue the idea until fruition regardless of how well things weren't going with your friends and team. It's hard to get anything done when the other teammates don't have the passion or ethic to see it throu

How is this different from a LaunchRock in essence? I feel like for many consumers, it's very hard for them to imagine the product w/o seeing/touching/interacting with it no matter how great you pitch or describe it. If someone were to desc

My wife and I did the same thing. When we moved from the midwest to the bay area, we opted for a cross country drive than to traumatize our little dog. I cannot imagine this happening to us.

Pinstagram pixel pusher here, right now we're just focused on building something useful and solving some pain points that we are hearing from our users.

You might want to rethink the design of this site. My first impression was do I really want to do Twitter auth w/ this site? and then the next thing you asked for is email. 2 asks for no rewards. I say, put the carrot before the cart - let

It depends on what business you are in. If yours is primarily a B2B - design may or may not be that important. If you can solve a pain point - it doesn't matter what the solution looks like. You can see the result of that in any SMB softwar

It's funny how things like this that has nothing to do with the actual app has an effect on your overall impression of the app.

Overall I agree with comments here - the site feels rather lonely. Take a look at GrubWithUs and see how they've solved this problem. Theirs is much more inviting - there's activity, social proof etc.

I don't think we are claiming any sort of success here. Getting written up is nice. Is it a successful company? No. Is it a successful "business" no, but then again many companies here in the valley don't seem to be too worried about making

Pek (creator) here. Thanks. We didn't see this as world changing nor are we claiming it is. For those of us who don't use Pinterest or Instagram, of course this will not be useful, but I'm a heavy Instagrammer and was always frustrated that

I think what's interesting is that Red Bull has been around for over 30 years. Growing up in Thailand, I have been aware of Red Bull in its original form for as long as I was aware. All the time we would see commercials in Thailand saying i

In society's definition of beauty, for those class of beautiful people (celebrities for instance), they work especially hard at looking beautiful. I would guess a female celebrity spends a lot of effort on her hair and makeup and has a pers

I agree that for forms - bootstrap has it much nicer. It wouldn't be hard to transplant one into the other depending on your needs (responsive vs forms)

My folks and older sister have been affected by the floods. They've had to evacuate as the water levels in their area have risen. It's really bad right now. Here are some photos from someone there: http://www.flickr.com/photos/69324373@N07
