Currently, all our javascript apps use Backbone and a few use Marionette. I'm a fan of Marionette but certainly no evangelist for it. For me, it really soothes the main pain points I had with Backbone. All that being said, we are abou

Whoever down-voted your comment should have that privilege revoked. trose's comment was completely on topic and well thought out. Down-voting is not to be used when you simply disagree.

You sound like a really angry person. What do you do on your breaks? And you really think checking emails is useless? Honestly, if the OP is checking his emails on his breaks, he actually sounds like he's being productive. OP also clea

I always cringe when I see a talk or a blog post in tech talking about "fixing" something that is "broken", especially something as complex as the internet. It's just sensationalism. The state of "brokeness&quo

Kudos to a lot of people in this discussion who have noted that they do not have any real numbers to back up their opinions. It is funny, because the CEO of Snapchat had no numbers but didn't let that stop him! I like that their is a h

Not to mention Instagram and WhatsApp. Not the same kind of hardware tech, but certainly diversifying. Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are 3 of maybe the top 5 or so apps out there right now.

Someday Facebook will lose it's position at the top, maybe sooner than later. Nobody knows that answer, not even the Snapchat CEO. While Snapchat is an insanely popular app, it isn't profitable. This is a gigantic, difficult step

Elephant #1 is that google.com is clearly #1 and facebook.com is #2. No way yahoo.com is above them in 2013.

This is supposed to be a list of the top "websites". A visit to tumblr.com or to flickr.com should not be counted for yahoo.com. I think the title of the article is probably not accurate.

That is a very naive point of view. Governments don't work like Yelp or Hacker News or something. There are people that represent or have the support of powerful lobbies which make things change. In this case, the taxi union. The artic

Philadelphia has VERY little 24 hour service. Last I checked two bus routes operate along the same path as the 'orange' and 'blue' subway lines and nothing else. The regional rail service shuts down by midnight.
