In Spain this amounts to paying 10EUR to join a club then you can buy at your leisure. Seems like a fairly low barrier. The data maintenance stuff is a bit more concerning, but I imagine once cannabis is embedded in the country the reportin

Once decoded they would be the same file contents - imagine one DAG where the depth is log(n) and it’s a perfectly balance tree, and another where the depth of the left-hand branch is 1, right hand branch contains another subtle with left-h

This is generally true, though it’s possible to encode the same data into a slightly different shaped DAG to optimise for eg video streaming performance afaiu (balanced vs imbalanced). UnixFS vs raw bytes may also be different but I’m not 1

Desci Labs (1) do something like this - papers and all the associated data (raw data, code, analyses, peer review comments) are published and linked together - along with all the citations to other papers - in a big DAG. I believe their dat

I didn’t attend zuzalu in 2023 but have used some of the apps built on zupass (frogcrypto was embarrassingly addictive). I’m in agreement with Vitalik that a temporary community is a great way to incubate and battle-test technical changes t

I guess it’s sort of game theoretical - making you sift through extra words has a lower downside than somebody else in the company thinking I’m being curt and aggressive with them, thus it’s safer to add the ‘corp-politeness’

Running 2^64 SHA1 ops on a GPU takes 15 years, so I think finding a reasonable collision for that half using SHA2/3 is not as trivial as you suggest: https://crypto.stackexchange.com/questions/84520/how-long-w

Perhaps OP is in the minority, but I am too then - I couldn’t enjoy the voice-acted versions; they all sounded cheesy. With text only, I imbued the game with a little imagination - not unlike reading a book - and also found the weird transl

Retrospectively, a lot of the comments you made could also have been said of Google search as it was taking off (open source alternative, SETI-like distributed version, copyright on data being the only blocker), but that didn’t come to pass

Cordial is a thick juicy syrup added to drinks, but is not alcoholic itself. I think the GP means ‘squash’ or ‘diluting juice’, which sometimes gets called cordial too (though I associate cordial with the thicker stuff)
