A couple of times on Twitter I encountered people that used a dog dewormer medicine (Fenbendazole) to treat their cancer and these people claimed it cured them. Or people they know of. Interesting and extremely cheap. Seems scientist did fi

Seems if you have staff that needs constant oversight and micromanagement, it's a waste of your own time. Do you really want to check someone 8 hours a day, 5 days per week to make sure they do what they are supposed to do? I think in

You have to do something while compiling a Linux kernel, might as well play a game as (I imagine) it can take a while :)

"Funny" thing about the Windows emoji font, is that flags are not included. I guess Microsoft is worried it can hurt their business (e.g. Israeli flag, Palestinian flag, Taiwanese flag, etc...). So, if you need flag icons for any

Lou's Pseudo 3D page mentions that Road Rash uses 3D models with a similar drawing mode [0], I guess? > Road Rash and 3do Road Rash both have amazing graphics engines. The original Genesis version of the game pulled off a relativel

I've seen a chicken eat a roach when I threw it outside a home. So I guess on the countryside, chickens can also be an option.

With regards to UI there is Microsoft’s MAUI, which I personally prefer over Avalonia. I love the single project approach of MAUI. I think Avalonia also relies on MAUI controls to some extent (I seem to recall a <UseMaui /> pro

A nice thing about Apple’s Terminal is the open [0] command. I miss that in Windows Powershell and would likely miss it in Linux as well. ——— [0]: https://scriptingosx.com/2017/02/the-macos-open-command/

I still feel Marathon was at equal level, even surpassed it in several areas. And released maybe a couple of months after Doom. But it was only known by Macintosh gamers at the time. In which ways I feel Marathon was better: - better light

Marathon had monster infighting. Marathon is a game series from Bungie, the first version released shortly after Doom, but only on Macintosh. There are defense drones [0] that aid the player and later on enslaved cybernetic aliens [1] that

The new Marathon game seems to be very loosely related to the originals and not even having a single player experience. Pretty much only Mac users played the original. I think it would have been better if they gave the game a different name
