I just tried Pinta and retract my words about it, cause it shows coords. This could help with my gimp suffering. But generally it's really not as nice as Paint.net. I don't like the ui at all (washed and bleak, hamburger menus, ch

I tried all of that and they all just suck. E.g. neither pinta nor krita don’t show selection rectangle coords in the status bar. How the heck should I e.g. investigate screenshot-based automation fails with that? What makes paint.net stand

Pressing where, in gimp? I was talking about an average app with customizable ui. But in general, search can’t replace a list because search is not discoverable. You can only search for what you know and remember and you may not remember e.

Compete with GIMP? One can scatter controls by tripping over a box of these and still get better ui than gimp.

I never made youtube thumbnails, but if I had to, I’d take 100 paint.nets and 0 gimps. Everything a youtube thumbnail ever needs can be easily done in a few minutes in paint.net. It’s like a standard toolbox for graphics. https://

For the latter you make a special “dialog” that has all the features in a single list. You make it anyway, because it’s a part of ui customization menu, but this one is separate, for search uses.

Attributing behaviors through names is not unique to css and it’s not particularly the right tool. It’s the only tool you have in browser, yes. But let it invent ways to avoid things like negative margins, harmfully cascading layout rules,

I guess I got the meaning of cedere wrong. If it has this “to give way” sense, then yep, adding super to it makes no sense in this context. That said, you can add “super” to almost anything, since it means “over”. It just has to have reason

I think Sabine explained this social effect few years ago. I know she's a little controversial, but the key thing in the video (as opposed to all other videos about DSE on the internet) was that you don't get "two clusters&qu

It’s bad at least because people don’t like to be watched or stalked, even if no “real” harm accompanied. Privacy is a thing that most people agree should exist. You can’t always have it, but it doesn’t mean you have to surrender it either.
