Not as an argument, but a side note: this is an effect of webdev being a ball of mud with wires sticking out of it. They couldn’t make a bad video player if <video> was good enough as is. Same for forms, layouts, etc. The huge upside

That’s why I say we need a detailed list, and a long one. Most bastards are in the middle of these structures, not on top (with notable exceptions).

Is there a site where one could review some code and see what many others say about it and their experience level? I guess it would degrade to stackoverflow-like poems eventually, but still interesting.

I think that taking political speeches at face value was flawed anyway, so. Maybe someone will finally get tired of this circus and invents Bitrule somehow.

The curse of a poll. You always get more than you asked for because any question is too flat.

But why? You can easily come up with a whole list. I’d ask for a week to perform research on more names I wasn’t aware of. There’s so many bastards in this world I’d specifically choose a less sharp weapon for and skip the can’t protest p

“HP jumps the train in a detached wagon.” That thing failed to explain what it does and how. As one reviewer said, “with this battery, I can spend a whole day”. Can’t believe they managed to find someone to buy this nothing-burger for $100m

Sadly no lora/finetune benchmarks. Phoronix sort of missed the whole idea, imo.

I quoted this exact article. It seems almost a tradition to fire all heads of OIGs after elections, from all sorts of presidents.

No they don't/aren't Recognition is subjective, so idk what to say here. You want more of this, forum wants less. I guess there's enough places to discuss it. Maybe people don't want this "vital context"

Sounded like "out of 25", but just for context: With approximately 1,600 employees, the HHS-OIG performs audits, investigations, and evaluations to recommend policy for decision-makers and the public.

These generalizations make no sense person-wise. Everyone has their own set of shoulds, don’ts and do-it-myselves. There’s no single law with all the bullet points. That said, your usual selection contains [too] many people’s shoulds and do

I don’t flag except for spam and obvious flag-content, but can say that these headlines and threads look like fud and overreaction from particular groups, all in a very recognizable format . That’s why it is annoying and report-worthy. Add

You migrate relevant parts of that diff into your workdir, test and commit. Is it that hard? What is this question even? Do you lose consciousness and project awareness in these cases? Why someone must split all the work before it's ne

I also found an option in ios that hides incoming calls from non-contacts. You just find missing calls afterwards (and ignore these). Turned it on and never looked back too. I have zero interest in non-contacts contacting me.

There’s nothing wrong with arrow keys, Esc or mouse. Using Vim doesn’t mean you have to buy into elitist pianism. Personally I don’t care about typing speed because I map, abbr and snippet code “to death”. All I want is to free my mind (not

You may get most of that by prompting. You can create really based or emotional characters even with “aligned” models (with a little realignment). Have you ever talked to an LLM that allows system prompting? Heard of [E]RP? You can even tea
