Yeah I get a nice reminder to limit frame rates when I hear the atrocious coil whine from my 4090 as it renders 1500fps of a static loading screen. First world problems.

Even worse, the bottles are minuscule. Each dose is dissolved in like half a mL of bacteriostatic water/saline. You could fit a years supply in 25mL, or 5 tsp.

What are the nature of those vulnerabilities though? How many require physical access or network access to exploit? If someone is in my house tapped into the network, cameras are the least of my problems.

"You called me a nasty name so I'm gonna blow up our 250 year old democracy" There's another word we can call them: juvenile.

PDF Expert can tap into the Quartz 2D API on Apple platforms, which is likely why they’re excellent. PDFs have been first class citizens on Mac OS X and its derivatives for 25 years.

Most people don’t care, the only weird/funny part is that they assume you can’t see with it on. I’ve never been interrupted and I wore mine on a flight just a few months after it was released. It’s not comfortable though.

Functionally the battery life is already shit. I barely ever use mine untethered to at least an external USB-PD battery. They might as well have made the plunge.

Yeah… but you had to bring an iPad? I’d choose the laptop every time as I can do all of that in addition to using a non-bullshit browser if I need to do something online.

Windows is miserable on the desktop too so idk Wanting to run whatever I want is not a “neck beard” thing. The only reason normies don’t care is because they don’t understand.

I never tried, but do UIKit text fields support the proper readline shortcuts like NSTextFields do on the Mac? It’s one of the most achingly wonderful things I miss so much when I work on Linux.

If these improvements are worth it they should just be merged into the coreutils. Last I checked they’re open source.

5W5A is not a custom profile. It is part of the USB-PD standard, but as an optional profile that can only be provided if you ensure the cable used is safe to handle 5 amps of current. It’s why the official Rapsberry Pi 5 PSU has a non-remov

I just booted up my G4 Cube running 10.2 and lemme tell you that aquagel looks 10x better, especially on at 1600x1200 on a Trinitron. Gorgeous, fun, clear delineation of content, with just maybe a bit too much transparency in a few spots. I

I use XSLT still, it’s a lot of fun. Mostly in shell scripts. jq is the closest thing for json, but it’s far messier to write longer filters than XSLT, and that’s saying something!

I work with an API that returns XML that uses zero tag attributes. It’s all just tags, nested. It’s actually a joy to work with. I see some XML from other sources and it’s just awful. Everything that should be a nested tag is all jammed i

Basic windowing barely works on it. On macOS is can click anywhere on a window to bring it into focus and make it active. System Settings is 50/50 if it works. I might still be able to interact with a control as it’ll click through, bu
