And for some reason I thought it required triangulation, in that noise cancelation can't be done with sound in a space because the inverse of the sound you hear is relative compared to the person a foot or two away from you.

I’m not sure about the command line not being a thing of the past, it’s not something I do on my current gen devices, game consoles/smart phones/watches/tablets. In fact for the general software user I think terminal commands

I know from experience that similar setups tend to have the workstation load the verifone updates, so a package could be inserted, it would take some more insider knowledge.

Yes and no, true you miss out on some of the sound, but is also startlingly loud. I’ve never heard what a bomb or meteor strike but I’m sure I would instinctively jump and run.

I think the point they were making was it’s risky to join a startup, and it doesn’t seem like that much more of a risk to start a startup if you have the stomach for risk already.
