i mean there are so many factors to this equation, writing code is the least of my problems. i try to focus more on enabling my teammates to avoid making bigger mistakes and growing them to be decent engineers, rather than optimizing my own

i wanted to to use tailscale really bad, but since you cannot login without the given choices they provide, i am not sure any security minded person would mind using it. i rolled my own with a simple vps, a haproxy and ansible.
