With an IP address(I doubt most people surf with TOR all the time), system time(Comparing time-zone data), language settings, and the myriad of other data given away a person can get ~close enough~. Even then, if you don't want to use the a

Reminds me of directory traversal on regular systems[1]. Zip up what ever you find, base64 encode it and send it to some shady server for later harvesting. [1] http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2691088

I think it's a great idea! I also think you are on the right path with using a barebones environment; I use Linux, but it's not right for the purpose. The biggest market I see for something like this is games or displaying some sort of vide

This is very true. We've tried using Google Docs and it just doesn't work the same; this is esp. true with less tech savvy users. If I am working on different page and someone is editing the top of the doc then it pushes everything I am doi

We have chickens too, around 25 free range + a pony + a few ducks, and had issues with dogs and wild coyotes. I think harming the animal is a bit inhumane but I totally understand where you are coming from. Remember you are a guest in their

Like I said before[1], what is up with all this Kevin Rose hate? He has a successful portfolio, seems to have a level head, and knows about tech. All this whining about "well I'm a dev and need VC why do they give him to him?" stop thinking
