I don't think parent meant that we should use box office number to decide if movie is great. Just that it is a most objective "score" attached to the movie title. For instance, one can use this score as a proxy to how popular

Also immediately thought about that episode. I think it is a good sign that the app fatigue is becoming a mainstream topic.

The cars with more than 5 seats do exist. If cost is not an issue as you suggest, it is pretty feasible to have 4+ children. It is even easier if you are not aiming to have them born in a rapid succession. Older kids can ride upfront.

Are you saying that ISPs already have all this information and there is no problem for them to calculate these (checking the thread...) "unpredictable" fees?

Isn't fee based on location of where the service is provided? My ISP at the rental property doesn't care about my residential address. They only care about the address where their service is consumed. You can stop worrying abou

Somehow T-Mobile figured that out. And charge me a nice round numbers that include all their fees and taxes. They are also able to advertise their prices nationwide.

> Northwest Arkansas with 100°F and 99% humidity People like to throw numbers like 90°F at 90%+ humidity. It doesn't work like this. If you look at the hourly data for Bentonville, AR (Northwest Arkansas) on the hottest day of the m

They have 30-40 years worth of content. I agree, majority is bad. But there is still plenty of stuff to watch. Plus, rewatching some old great show often is more rewarding than consuming all this new drek.

I do not agree. Today Directors returned this much money, and headline correctly reflects this. If headline said something like “directors were paid $735M back in 2020” then it would be a spin.

What is the Flashlight app developer success? At best the app sales supported them for a year or two. By this metric a failed VC funded company also has supported its founder (plus employees) for a year or two.
