We call them that because it's true. The far right parties don't want to solve problems. They thrive on anger and hate. If they actually would solve something people would stop voting for them. Because anger and hate are the only

Yes and when a government tries to do something about that (like Spain granting temporary permits so they can work and pay taxes) it angers the right even more.

Well, don't forget some of these wars are caused by us. The Western countries invaded Iraq under false pretenses so Dubya could make his Halliburton buddies happy. As a result and pure neglect to form a legit democratic government afte

Those processes benefited ourselves during WWII. But this anger and hatred you demonstrate so well is exactly what the right feeds off. That's why they are gaslighting you. Anger activates and motivates more than happiness. Unfortunate

If they are only asylum seekers , it means they are still in the validation process. Unfortunately the hard-right has also defunded that process for many years, and have thus created this problem themselves. The agencies tasked with figuri

In that case it's usually not really needed to recover the floppy anyway. Copy protect means off the shelf software that you can probably still find on archive.org or anandonware sites.

Any HD disk could be formatted as DD anyway. And on an Amiga you had to reformat every disk anyway because they used a different format.

I've seen this too in a meta moderation center. They were real sticklers for this. Even personal headphones were not allowed. I don't think this is legal in EU but for that kind of low-level work they tend to get away with that.

That sounds like a simple solution but it is not that simple, employees have a right to use work tools for personal reasons too within reason. And GDPR explicitly forbids personal items to be released during discovery even to jurisdictions

It is a right in EU to have some level of personal activity on work-supplied devices. This does not come from the GDPR but some other legislation. We had a call with HR about that only recently when some leader again suggested "just bl

Our company does the same. We are not allowed to use whatsapp for any work-related stuff. This is for several reasons, mostly security and data-loss prevention. On Teams we can monitor with purview what happens with personal (customer!) dat

Not really. Yes most kids will see porn before they're 18 but it doesn't damage them or give them the wrong idea about consensual behaviour. If anything I find GenZ a lot more focused on explicit consent than GenX.
