I think Cloud Agents are the future, but I’ll be honest I don’t see how a third party provider survives in this space. 1. It’s really not that hard to stand this up on your own. GitHub agentic workflows gets you 95% of the way there already

Why not connect to the GitHub MCP?

Sounds like this was just a crazy guy upset at OpenAI. Not great but an isolated incident. That said… is anyone going to be surprised when the laid off masses torch a data center or worse? IMO, it’s only a matter of time before we see organ

This is the spicy content I come here to read. I wouldn’t do it myself but god speed to anyone who does.

MCP really only makes sense for chatbots that don’t want to have per session runtime environments. In that context, MCP makes perfect sense. It’s just an adapter between an LLM and an API. If you have access to an execution engine, then yes

Now you’ve replicated MCP but with extra steps and it’s harder to debug.

The agent still doesn’t have an execution environment. It can’t execute the code!

There is no world in which an enterprise is not OK with an agent having access to a CLI but is OK with possibly getting prompt injected from a random web search.

Anthropic says that Skills and MCPs are complementary, and frankly the pure Skills zealots tend to miss that in enterprise environments you’ll have chatbots or the like that don’t have access to a full CLI. It doesn’t matter if your skills

No, the point was that you don’t have access to a CLI in every environment.

Ok, but there are still many environments where an LLM will not have access to a CLI. In those situations, skills calling CLI tools to hook into APIs are DOA.

So we have one hit out of how many thousands of sorties by the F-35 during this war? Not sure I’d claim stealth is done yet. If anything I think it proves the opposite…

I’m pretty close to the point of saying that human intelligence is not special.

Some people at my office still confidently state that LLMs can’t think. I’m fairly convinced that many humans are incapable of recognizing non-human intelligence. It would explain a lot about why we treat animals the way we do.

The vibe coders will be fine. They’ll use LLMs to red team their code.

You should watch this talk by Nicholas Carlini (security researcher at Anthropic). Everything in the talk was done with Opus 4.6: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sd26pWhfmg

Have you tried just asking CC to make a codebase more elegant? It’s surprisingly effective up to a point. No reason to think that won’t work better down the road.

No one cares about code quality. No one has ever cared about code quality. It’s only been tolerated in businesses because no one could objectively say that ignoring code quality can result in high velocity. With coding agents, velocity is n

There’s an interesting nugget of an idea in this ad. But the current implementation leaves a lot to be desired. What I want out of the PR interface is to be able to ask an agent questions and get back supported answers and to be able to eas

Just more evidence that the B tier models are six months behind. Ultimately that’s good. Opus 4.6 level intelligence will be cheap later this year!

This gives drones way too much credit. The USN knew that Iran could block the strait of Hormuz back in the 80s. Anti-ship missiles were already effective and plentiful enough to do it then and they’ve only gotten more lethal since. The long

This is delusional. Iran has thousands of ASM on the coastline. They need 1 to make it through to take out a tanker. Even the best anti missile systems we have aren’t 99.99% reliable. It was always a losing proposition. Iran has always been

None of this is true. Pretty much all JavaScript code is slop because the language is god awful. It’s so bad that we spent the last 20 years trying to code around the severe limitations of the language itself. Despite everyone knowing that
