At least in the customer space, I think Dropbox's main problem is that they have refused to offer lower space / lower cost packages. I can get 100 GB on Google Drive for $2 / month. The lowest package on Dropbox is $10 /

Tesla also said they'd sell a <= $35,000 Model 3. That lasted for only a few months in 2019 before they realized that they were selling the cars under cost... So, I'd take this with a huge grain of salt. BTW, Nissan and GM are

Not a Google Maps story, but a family died in Death Valley 24 years ago by following a map that showed a similar road that was not passable for their vehicle. Tragic way to die. https://www.strangeoutdoors.com/mysterious-sto

No mention of the Colorado Trail? It’s a world class thru hike. Easily doable in about a month. Starts just 20 miles outside of Denver city limits!

Both the J&J and moderna vaccines can be stored at much warmer temperatures. Pfizer likely can as well but they haven’t done the testing to verify that yet. I’m not saying that AZ’s stocks of vaccine are going to be thrown out by any me

There’s an increasing likelihood that the AZ vaccine will arrive too late to the party in the US and will be the least effective of all the vaccines approved by the FDA. We don’t know the latter yet for sure, J&J’s data is supposed to c

If 50% of the top million websites use JQuery, is it time to just admit that it should be bundled with JS by default in some way, shape or form?

I’m ready to jump off of Comcast as soon as possible, but Starlink may not be the best option there. Now if I was working from an RV all the time it would make tons of sense.

I guess if you're a terrestial teleco you have to do something to compete with Starlink, but I'm not sure I'd make the investment in these in rural areas if SpaceX can really make Starlink economical. But that's a big IF

You should take these findings with a big grain of salt. Remember we don't yet even have a causal model of Alzheimer's and dementia. Amyloid plaques are strongly associated with Alzheimer's but it's not clear if they

That’s actually a high hurdle to clear. Looking at fatalities per hundreds of thousands of miles driven humans are insanely good at driving. Using the 2018 NHTSA number of 1.13 deaths per 100 million miles driven, avg speed of 60 mph, 20 pr
