CPUs without microcode exist. While microcode isn't exactly a new innovation, early mass-market CPUs were not implemented that way.

It's not universally accepted that it is fallacy. And for whatever it misses, reductionism is a hell of a tool that has been incredibly useful in understanding the world. Of course, so are chemistry and biology, so blithely dismissed

Hydrogen would not be better. A helium atom is considerably smaller than a hydrogen molecule. Even if you could use atomic hydrogen, the helium atom's radius is significantly smaller due to the higher central charge that is only part

Which is completely bogus. Absence of evidence, when evidence is expected is indeed (possibly weak) evidence of absence. The stronger "absence of proof is proof of absence" would be fallacious.

See also the book _Surfing Uncertainty_ ( https://www.amazon.com/Surfing-Uncertainty-Prediction-Action... ) which convincingly details many brain subsystems as approximating Bayesian updates.

Yeah, the dead comments are generally a good thing. The problem is that there are a large number of dead comments that appear to be false positives.

The prior name of Fulcrum Microsystems was Asynchronous Digital Design, not Design Technology. They fairly quickly decided that ADD was an unfortunate acronym...

Of course it can. The methods it can do so legally are limited, and it has no "free floating" power to do so, but that doesn't mean much.

For speed we don't measure it "upside down", no. But there is another transformation: "rapidity", which does add linearly (at least for one spatial dimension) and goes to infinity when velocity goes to c. https:&#
