I've got an Asus EEEpc with 2GB of RAM and 4GB swap and I always have Firefox open with 80+ tabs in 4+ windows. After a week or so it'll get really slow when loading and would crash in a day or two if usage continued, so I just kill it and

I agree on both counts. My problem with armies is that we have these essentially slave-cults for protection and we call ourselves free. Better off, sure. But not really free because we've got this slave system (Military justice/prisons) to

It's not a druthers kind of thing. If you need to trust that it hasn't been tampered with you must sign it. And if you don't care you might as well not add authentication because without signing it's just a fancy CRC - ie, totally replica

It's not a feature so it's a flaw. You're right that pg did it this way in the beginning to save time but years have gone by and the site is now more central to his business - especially as a tech demo. This back and forth argument presuppo

It was informative. I didn't know the USA put restrictions on what the Dalai Lama would say. For China. I think the average person would be surprised to hear it. It's like not recognizing Taiwan as a country. Offensive.

No, for an (modern) HP offering "Cloud" is actually appropriate. Vague, nebulous, rarely seen up close. Never performs a lick of work, floats idly by. Occasionally crashes spectacularly. It's actually perfect branding.

Quit changing the topic. You asked " How is this a success for Google+? " What's the bar now? Suddenly being #1? Anyways, whatever. I'm not on G+ because I'm not a fan of their real-name policy and I certainly don't care if they win or lose
