Systems are absolutely not ready. Leap seconds are a bad idea and negative leap seconds are worse. Just don't do it and let the drift cancel out.

No it won't because Chinese DRAM manufacturers have relatively low capacity and it's already being used. And in an auction, prices from different suppliers converge.

I assume they validated certain DRAM chips when the 395 first came out and they're just not going to validate any more. So newer DRAM is validated for the 495. We can't compare DDR5 and LPDDR5 since they are completely different;

Everything will be lost unless it's somebody's job to preserve it. It's pretty common to close game studios or lay off the entire development team while simultaneously scolding them about "stealing" IP so the predic

Haters, please stop flagging liffik's comments. I know you don't like AI but this thread was legitimately upvoted onto the front page so at least let the author respond to people.

You got it backwards; it's ~200 on single stream so the 2,600 is achieved with ~13 streams.

These cases sound closer to sanctions than AML but in either case there needs to be due process.

For example, if iPhone unit share is 20% but it has double the RAM compared to cheap phones that's ~40% byte share.

I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of organizations made a temporary exception to try Opus and then got "addicted" in the sense that it's too good to give up.

AFAIK a bunch of customers run Palantir on prem specifically so that their data doesn't leak and they can use a firewall instead of a TOS. Some of the data is so sensitive that Palantir doesn't want to touch it. I don't think

I think that's been kind of solved by some states issuing IDs that don't make any claims about citizenship or immigration status. Then you could use that same ID online to prove age in our new dystopian future.
