Removing zoning permits does not equate to shoddily built houses. This is what you call, a straw man.

Yet again, just like the other Microsoft announcements, this thread is filled with "greybeard" superstition and vitriol. It's to the point now where the conversations are becoming like this: "I really like this new tool

This is much ado about nothing. Why does it matter what content resides on this site? No one is going to judge the author or anyone else for publishing on Medium. If someone in your circle is judging you for publishing on Medium, you'd

This is a logical fallacy. More than likely, easy languages will become more performant.

Explain to me how it could be a Trojan horse when it's their own OS that they are modifying? They aren't exactly going in and sabotaging the Linux kernel project here... There's also a logical fallacy that because Nadella wor

Awful lot of hate in the comments on this one. The arguments are coming off as petty at best. I keep seeing something analogous to: "Microsoft finally add a temperature control knob to their toaster just like all the others!" Comm

I can see your point, but this isn't the case for Microsoft. This framework may be not accepting PR's yet, but just like the other 100+ repositories that do, I'm sure this will join shortly.
